Water Conservation in Landscape Design and Management

This book is in two parts, the first portion is an overview of the problem and what has been done in the past. that section is dated because today, somewhere, someone is doing something which should be included in that section.
the second part of the book contains suggestions as to what we all should be doing in the future. The bulk of that section is timeless; since most of these sugestions must be continued, as a matter of course, if we are to act responsibly with the resources we have and will have in the future.
A few new techniques and methodes may be added in time, but the basic strategies are valid over time, with only some aditions and modifications as to how to save water and still have attractive and functional landscapes.
