It also reflects the conference planning and organisational processes which involved the community of international scholars located in different institutions, faculties, schools and departments. The interdisciplinary nature of the conference enabled active intersections of scholars from the fields of design, social sciences and business studies. The mingling of researchersfrom diverse disciplines reflects the need for interdisciplinary approaches to research complex issues related to innovation.
