8th International URban Design Conference

The 8th International Urban Design Conference entitled ‘Empowering Change: Transformative Innovations and Projects’ was focused upon profiling and discussing inspirational changes in urban environments across Australia and internationally. For three days the conference brought together a range of designers, practitioners, academics and students from around the world to deliberate on a diversity of topics relevant to contemporary urban design and the challenges it faces leading into the future. Ten conference sub-themes (e.g. Health & Urban Design) provided the session structure for the various paper and poster submissions.
