The purpose of the study is to categorize and discover the types and trend of events in Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center (BSJCC). Main focus of the research is to categorize the events held in Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center, for example MICE events and Privte events. This research utilizes qualitative descriptive method to gather and process data in forms of interviews with employees of Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center, timeseries in form of events schedule circa January 2014 to January 2018 and the researcher’s own observation. The result of this research are: 1) MICE and Private type events are dominant in Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center 2) MICE events is dominated by Convention and Exhibition 3) Private events is dominated by religious and graduation events 4) Private events keeps decreasing each year while MICE events fluctuates back and fort.
