<note>Brands certainly need to be registered in order to get legal protection. As in the case of a good day brand, the Director registers the brand using his personal name so that the good day brand cannot become a company asset. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the companys trademark can be registered by the director using a personal name and whether a brand registered using a company name can be referred to as a company asset. The type of research used is normative research using secondary data. The method of data collection uses library research with qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that in the case of a good day brand the director registering a brand using his personal name is the director and founder of the company that produces and uses the good day brand for the first time, as referred to in UUM 21/1961. At present, good day brands can switch to companies with transfer rights. Brands that are transferred to the company can be used as company assets that are intangible because they can be transferred in the form of rights and have economic value</note>
