Analisis Karakteristik dan Motivasi Wisatawan Mancanegara di Bali Kasus: Pantai Kuta dan Seminyak
The aim of this study is to analyze the characteristic and motivation of foreign tourists who travel to Kuta Beach and Seminyak Beach in Bali. The research method used is descriptive method and having a sampling technique by questionnaire that conducted with purposive sampling for 30 respondents in each beach, then measured by nominal scale and Likert scale. Based on the research that has been carried out, on Kuta Beach, the demographic characteristics are men (53.3%), age range 25-44 (37%), diploma's last education level (43%), working (80%), not yet married (47%), having a family member of 1 person (53%), and unmarried family type (53%), and dominated by tourists from Oceania and Europe (40% each), based on visitors' psychographic characteristics, the results are tourists that stay in hotels (70%), walking (53%), staying 1 - 10 days (60%), local food consumption (80%), with daily expense of >50USD (37%). Whereas on the Seminyak Beach, the demographic characteristics are men (60%), age range 25-44 (40%), diploma's last education level (47%), working (80%), getting married (60%), having several people of family members without children under 17 years (50%), and unmarried family types (40%), and dominated by tourists from Europe (40%), based on psychographic characteristics the tourists stay in a hotel (63%), walking (57 %), only 1 - 10 days (63%), local food consumption (80%), with daily expense of >50 US Dollars (83%). Motivation of tourists on these two beaches tends to be the same, namely physical motivation, but on the Kuta Beach is more dominated by this motivation while the Seminyak Beach are slightly more varied with other motivations.
