Optimasi Perencanaan Jadwal Konstruksi Proyek Engineering, Procurement, dan Construction Dengan Metode Advanced Work Packaging

EPC is a form of contract agreement that is dominant in the construction industry for infrastructure development. EPC is known for its many work items and must be carried out simultaneously between the design, procurement and construction processes. With the work process carried out concurrently this results in a duration that must be carefully calculated so as not to delay, while the nature of the construction work is only temporary. One of the problems in the EPC type industrial sector is that there is poor management of time. A planner must be able to take into account the duration and number of skilled workers and labor in the construction field and at the head office. For that reason, this study discusses the use of the AWP method during the construction planning period which is closely related to the increase in labor productivity. The application to achieve this is used causal-comparative method. To achieve this, we use the method of grouping project work packages and the relationships between jobs between traditional methods and the AWP method. From the results of research that has been carried out in terms of duration estimation, the relationship between work items, and WBS it turns out that the application of the application using the AWP method in the construction planning phase is considered in accordance with several studies from literature studies. These results indicate the effectiveness of several work items and the duration of the project. It is expected that the use of comparative causal methods between traditional methods and AWP can prove one of the solutions to problems that occur in the construction planning phase.
