Analisa Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Budaya Organisasi di Le Bistrot du Potager #2, di Lyon, Prancis


Leader and their style of leadership plays important factor in creating culture of the organization they lead. A good organization culture is an important factor in realizing top performance for its members, so that the organization vision can be fulfilled perfectly. Emphasizing on how a leader, with a their style of leadership forms a good organization culture in hope that the expected organization vision can be fulfilled as well. This study emphasizes on Le Bistrot du Potager #2 in Lyon, France, which have successfully defended their position as recommended on various food and beverage recommendation board/organization in France, especially in Lyon, such as Gault & Millau, Bistro Beaujolais, and more. This study contains descriptive study about leadership style and organization culture which are managed by the various leaders, such as chef de cuisine, bistro operational manager or even the owner of the bistro themselves, who also participates on everyday operations and managerial duties. The purpose of this study is to understand and describe the leadership style that is managed to form a good organization culture so that the restaurant/bistro able to maintain their good position, from the founding of the bistro until now. This study uses qualitative descriptive method by means of purposive sampling, through interview process with related leaders and participant's observation, which in this case, the writer participated on daily organization activities. The result of the study will be analyzed with triangulation technique. The result of the study contains the comprehension and description of the leadership style and its implication to organization style which are managed in Le Bistrot du Potager #2 in achieving the company's vision
